I saw no need to hand out any drinks for now since the salad had a pretty high water content. Palkiday was spent going around the city, visiting the places I found the most interesting, though with me acting as the tour guide that was no surprise. Unfortunately, we couldn't visit the Night Market since it wasn't open on Palkidays, so most of them, like Ace, Aaron, Misty, and Yoruichi, had to leave without being able to see it. My parents, Kinji, Yu, Jessie, Rose, and Weiss, however, stayed for another day/night, which meant the celebration with my Pokemon got pushed back by another day as well. - Surskit290713hCommented

She then first slammed into the Protect, which burst apart like a fly that splashed against the windshield of a speeding car, before crashing into Scizor. Unlike its shield, Scizor did not get splashed, but it got roasted by the Flare Blitz before being sent flying due to the difference in size as well as Mothra's momentum. Mothra shrunk to a tenth of her initial size and followed right after Scizor. She swiftly caught up with Scizor, her right fist blazing. Scizor tried to block her, but she flew straight below its pincer and hit it right in its belly section with a Fire Punch, causing Scizor to double over in pain. - Surskit290713hCommented

"It's the final waltz, Ronin," Stephanie declared as she released her Pokemon, which as I expected ended up being her (low) platinum-stage Scizor. "DD, Stan," I kept it simple and Stan appeared on the field. His Intimidate triggered as soon as he did, offsetting part of the Sword Dance that Scizor performed as soon as it appeared. I had not seen a Mega Stone on Lucario's body, which was why I was surprised when he suddenly lit up like that, but considering how the light had originated from behind Lucario's head, I was assuming that the Lucarionite had been hidden behind/between the extensions on the back of his head. Good hiding place or not, it was a fact that Lucario was undergoing a Mega Evolution, and the audience was cheering enthusiastically. - Surskit290715hCommented

Anyway, unfortunately for Lucario Ignis had supreme fire and Water resistance, along with supreme steam resistance, so the Steam Jet it released could merely tickle him, which was why I ignored it and had Ignis hit back instead. "Tank it, then fire back," I ordered out loud. 'Follow up with Dragon Dance, and if Lucario attacks you from afar block it with Hydro Pump or Flamethrower. Mothra capitalized on that and slammed into Corviknight using a Flare Blitz, and as usual, there were gaps and outcries when Mothra performed another move she shouldn't be able to use. Anyway, their collision sent Corviknight falling/flying away, and while it was trying to regain control, Mothra followed after it and used Horn Leech to heal the damage she caused herself by using Flare Blitz. Her Horn Leech manifested in the form of energy vines that clung to Corviknight and began to drain it of its energy. - Surskit290717hCommented

I was honestly stunned when I recognized the voices of Mom, Dad, Jessie, Rose, Kinji, and the others since I had not told them about my Gym Challenge. I did not want them to have to travel all the way to Lilycove City just to be there for my Gym Battle since I knew that many of them would do that if I told them the date of my Gym Battle. I had been planning to tell them the news after earning the Gym Badge, but it seemed that they had found out about my Gym Challenge even without me telling them the details. The only thing I could think of was that some of them had to have seen my upcoming battle on the web page of the Lilycove Gym and then shared the news with the others without my knowledge. - Surskit290717hCommented

To make matters worse for Corviknight, Shino put one on top and sent a batch of Ancient Power into the Silvercane, forcing Corviknight to not only resist the Silvercane but also block or dodge the Ancient Power rocks that whirled around inside the Silvercane. Corviknight struggled inside the Silvercane for a good 30 or so seconds, taking quite a bit of damage in the process, before it released a frustrated cry and blazed with energy, indicating that it was using Brave Bird. Using Brave Bird Corviknight forced itself out of the Silvercane, bursting through any rocks that were in its way during its escape. - Surskit290721hCommented

Exploud directly followed that up with a Hyper Beam that hit Ferrus head-on and flung him away, causing him to roll along the ground. Using Hyper Beam now was smart of them since they wanted to make use of the time of the Pokemon swap to let Exploud recover from the consequences of Hyper Beam. Considering how quickly that happened, it was clear that he had not used a fully powered Hyper Beam, which also made sense since Ferrus' exhaustion had been clear as day, and using a serious Hyper Beam would have been a waste. - Surskit290721hCommented

That only ended up being about 20 seconds since Vito swiftly recalled his Vigoroth before sending out his second Pokemon, which happened to be a Kecleon. I had to admit that I was a bit surprised to face one since they were rather rare due to their tendency to go invisible and hide. While Utopia's passive healing would restore my body to full health, I had stuff to do before that happened. I directly took out the paste and drink I had prepared to maximize my gains. I first gulped down the drink before taking off my clothes and spreading the paste on my aching/twitching body. This was also why I did not ask any of my Pokemon to perform a healing move on me since healing my body before my supplements could work would go against my plans. If you lift, you are altering your own genes at a microscopic level. You will improve your own base form in a sense. That being said, the healthier you are, the better genes you pass on to your offspring.
