JakeCole9dPostedJust finished the fic, and I can comfortably say that it was amazing. I often see people complain that the MC has this ‘underdog’ feel to him, and it is true to an extent, but considering the scale of powers involved in this fic, it is extremely justified. Plus, idk about other readers, but reading something where the MC is op from the get-go, in a world setting wherein said MC will always win, is utterly bs and just completely unrealistic. In this fic, you can actually feel the struggles he had to go through to get to the level of strength he had towards the end. When he was finally able to fight back and deal with those who opressed him, it felt fcking awesome as a reader. From the storytelling, character design (P.S it’s criminal how much you made me love Kimi, Luck, and Life, author), world building, and the various twists and turns, it all accumulated into a friggin phenomenal read.

It doesn’t work that way. He can only copy one skill for each person or entity that kills him. He’s already died at the hands of the Flame Emperor and copied his regression skill, so he won’t gain anything else from him anymore.

One of, if not, the best Danmachi fics I’ve read on the platform. The characters, both men and women, are developed so well. In fact, this story prolly has the best character depiction of Freya I’ve read. The only gripe I have about the author is the fact that the sequel is TAKING DAMN LONG TO START. Other than that though, it’s all love.

Second time reading this fic, and I just want to say that this is still by far the best Freya’s been depicted and written on this platform.
