Review Detail of JakeCole in The Cursed Gamer

Just finished the fic, and I can comfortably say that it was amazing. I often see people complain that the MC has this ‘underdog’ feel to him, and it is true to an extent, but considering the scale of powers involved in this fic, it is extremely justified. Plus, idk about other readers, but reading something where the MC is op from the get-go, in a world setting wherein said MC will always win, is utterly bs and just completely unrealistic. In this fic, you can actually feel the struggles he had to go through to get to the level of strength he had towards the end. When he was finally able to fight back and deal with those who opressed him, it felt fcking awesome as a reader. From the storytelling, character design (P.S it’s criminal how much you made me love Kimi, Luck, and Life, author), world building, and the various twists and turns, it all accumulated into a friggin phenomenal read.
