I’ve read about 150 chapters so far so I feel I can talk about this book. The first 50 good translation, logic, consistent use of characters and world building is also good. After 75+ it all goes down hill translation gets worse by the chapter, for a good story I would read mtl translations even if I would to make up my own conclusions to understand what is being said but this is not worth it here’s why. There’s nothing special about the main character he’s own of those who keeps a low profile and sometimes shows his power but that’s it. His struggle for power or reason to cultivate almost becomes obsolete because of his panel. Meaning there’s much struggle making him boring. There’s always a need enemy or a new young master who appears out of thin air it’s like the world building is made on the fly to accommodate the current story . Power scaling is all over the place worse than dbz at this point. His strongest move atleast his strongest move for the past 100 chapters has been his floating daggers. Not only do they not use any qi consumption they are only medium grade but because they come as a set they are able to basically contend with weaker top grade weapons, higher than high grade. Which he got as a 5-6 as qi cultivator I forget. But still uses them to kill 9qi peak ??? Also he always seem to be richer and smarter than everybody else even richer than those who are the holy sons of sects with sect masters 3 realms higher than his own. Example: his sect has a gold core as sect master. Another character saintness of a sect has a level 5 major realm the spirit transformation realm but yet she never uses talismans in a secret realm but he does (they could But i don’t care anymore ) anyways it doesn’t make sense in that secret realm he is with other people with similar status and yet he is only doing something everyone else should do it’s stupid.

This girls reminds me of Xue ning-Xiang from demonic emperor, and we all know what happened to her

What the hell with only decent, for a normal human,cultivation talent he can live over 1000 years? So those talented disciples tens of thousands?

I don’t rate this book as much as others one of the main issues is to many plot holes that don’t make sense. Also the main character does not have a consistent character it’s almost like he’s a schizophrenic with the way he behaves. He’s nervous to meet stronger people, has an ability to create illusions so those stronge people can’t recognize him, but isn’t the least bit cautious or hesitant to put an insect in his body? Also with his power of illusions can’t he just make himself invisible to those people? It all seems cater to protagonist and the plot even if it doesn’t make any sense. Translations are good so if you want something to read than yeah it’s decent but not enough to spend your time if you are looking for something good.

The first 30 chapters you get a feel of what the story is. Fast paced to hell with common sense in some parts. I for one dislike cultivations that’s makes it so the mc has to hide his cultivation every second, and luckily this one doesn’t. However his cultivation speed it’s so blatant that you have to question if other peoples IQ are in the double digits, that they don’t see that a 10 year old is this like this. I don’t want to say to much but you will understand if you read. Anyways I give it an OK at best

I don’t what happened to my post but here’s my corrections the first point: I meant that there’s no expansion of how a worm would act or the hardships he has to endure as a worm. Only the first 50 really address it. It’s a worm cultivation novel you would think that would be the story is about.

I have read exactly 200 chapters and this my final thoughts on this story. It’s average at best, with it being ok sometimes. There some spoilers here you have been warned. There’s a few reasons why it’s not below average or terrible. Here they are (if you can get through the first 30 chapters where it took me about a week to get through because of how absolutely annoying that character was and his lack of common sense) First the plot: it’s interesting and different in that he is a worm trying to live in a cultivating world and the hardships he deals with in the first 50 chapters. But that’s it in the first two chapters that they don’t expand on that much and his hardship is not being exposed as a worm. That’s not interesting. World building: it’s ok it’s about generic as it gets ,it is also constantly world building outward but it’s painfully slow it’s been 200 chapters and I’m still in the same city like the fuck are we doing. The character/plot armor: after the first 30 chapters he is mentally stable and makes common sense and rational decisions. But here is the thing it’s almost too rational like perfect here is what I mean imagine dropping a glass bottle from a rooftop and it breaks. If it’s nighttime you will want to clean it up tommorow morning, right? That would be your thinking and that’s what occurs. At least that’s what would happen in a world where everything you want to happens works and everything is a constant. But guess what, this is the real world and not everything is a constant i am a variable and so is someone who job is to clean up the front of the building you can’t control that but in the story that’s what occurs. Everything is perfect in that it’s convient that everything goes right and falls on the lap of the character. And he acts like conjured it or he’s like a puppet master but in fact it’s was just plot armor. And there’s always a reason why it makes “sense” or why it’s possible or something similar and of course, that sense is the system it’s almost like it’s the main characters hack as if normally it should be imposible but because of system it works. And that’s how these system novels work I have read dozens of them but this one takes it to the extreme. As for more of the character he’s quite a bland protagonist there’s no one attribute that will make want to read more of it. No hardship, no revenge,no ultimate goal of becoming a god that makes him really stubborn to achieve it, no goals for himself other than what the system asks for, even a simple dream of having a harem even if generic and a probably trash reason. Even if he wants to coast his way through life by using others he is still horribly bland. And that is biggest issue there’s nothing makes me to see his end of his journey of becoming a worm sovereign (because apparently he still a worm 1000 chapters later according to another comment) Of course there other problems of this story like the large amounts of inconsistencies of numbers what people can and cannot due it’s gets annoying but you can overlook it as you can see what the other is trying to do. The fact that the author makes humores jokes throughout the story but it is as bland as a 10 years old jokes. So there barely any comedy and the part that are suppose to atleast some type of humor are just comments that are needed, fluff you can call it. Anyways that’s my review it’s Average I recommend not to read it unless you like a bland character who gets everything he wants.

I’m going to be honest I only read the first 14 chapters. But so far there’s seems to be a lot things that don’t make sense. First off, the talismans book cost 500 points,which makes sense but then he takes only a month to learn how to….write???? You telling me no one else can do such a simple thing. There’s zero down cost like??? No theory learning, using mana or “nux” to write/infuse, etc. Meaning a 3 year old child could make one. Next him having above average compresión is fine, but he can just see 2 people and already tell who is stronger? Even if they had a severe injury before???knows how to perfectly fight even though it seemed he had barely any fighting experience? I scrolled past the chapters and seemed like it would continue. So I can’t give this story more than a 2.

Only good for about the first 100-150 chapters then it declines sharpely.

Him protecting that woman and child and then telling the other people to apologize is the worst thing he could do. I feel like although he is trying to grow he is incredibly stupid or the author can’t keep a consistent level of logic when it comes to Matt. I hope it gets better, it doesn’t have to be perfect.

Definitely one of the best written novels out there.

The translation quality is awful. Also guns in a cultivation novel? It doesn’t make sense for the most part.

I have no problems with translation quality, but I do have that with illogical reasoning or inconsistent in the story.
