I love how you set the scene here. Very immersive.
"Without any jewels sparkling from above" Great description!
This is one of the most relable set-ups I've seen on here thus far. A main character who is a writer but doesn't like to feed the erotica-obsessed portion of most wev novels' reader base? Bold move, yet so familiar. I hope Adam can eventually find his footing footing as a writer as the story goes on.
Oh gosh! Instantly relating to Adam lol
I love Ladon's energy.
Like no wonder humans are doomed. Geez lol
Bless his soul. He's definitely doing a lot of heavy lifting amongst the oblivious crowd members lol
I love this. Bring on the suspense!!
A love story between a cop and a serial killer is certainly something I haven't seen before. Andria's descent into madness begins like many serial killers we read about. Themes of nature vs. nurture come into play as she evolves into a killer obsessed with hunting down her prey at all costs. Only to end up somehow falling in love. Interested to see how this all plays out.
Well, that's one way to get past the guards!
She's taken quite a dark turn. I hope she's comfortable with where it all ends.
This was heartbreaking. Claire was Andria's only true friend. I can only imagine the despair.
"Her life was like a white-colored sheet, and she deeply needed colors for it." This description is so moving. She must truly be at her whit's end for everything to seem stark and empty. That's such a powerful way of painting hopelessness.
I thoroughly enjoyed the MC's backstory and tragic transition into her new life. The author paints an interesting premise that usually delivers. The characters appear to be historically accurate in their depictions, and the author does a good job with descriptions, world-building, and character motivations. I'm interested in seeing how this all turns out.
Haha! That's the trick! A little bit of theater to get your way. Then, the real fun begins!
