Anf just to be clear, you do not wear a corset with modern clothes. Corsets give you a totally different figure and that doesn't work with modern clothes.

See? Corsets were bras. YOU COULD NOT DO EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO DO IN A DAY WITHOUT PASSING OUT. You couldn't eat, walk, take care of children or pets, use the restroom, or cook/bake. This is wrong.

I'd just like to point out how very incorrect this is!!!! You would RARELY tight-lace a corset. They give a different shape is all. And they're used so all your petticoats don't dig into your waist. This is NOT what they did historically. I hate how many people think this was the reality.

After she got naked and put the corset on, Ayala tightened and bound the straps. Hope had never felt so much agony and shame in her life.
