This book is absolutely phenomenal, chapter 174 broke me and I actually started crying as I read it, a real master-piece that has superb pacing and emotional gut wrenching writing, I learned more about the time period sporadically throughout the story which provides some nice “oh cool” moments, the author clearly researched the day to day life of a noble woman throughly. The setting and world building is that of a typical fantasy book and yet I’m left speechless on how everything seems so real and historical, even when the author speaks of dragons and magic it all feels natural and in place like these things truly exist; furthermore I find myself listless as I hang on the edge of every word with great anticipation during some of the more heart wrenching moments. If every author in this world wrote like this I would want for nothing! My only complaint is that the series will someday have to end and I’ll be left wantin more! Someday I hope to achieve even half the writing capability displayed in this story, the countless hours of effort, deliberation and planning has bore its fruit in this work of art! I find myself stopping periodically just to reread a paragraph or a sentence as I take it in and appreciate it’s often poetic nature, and wonder about the countless hours and re-writes it must have taken to capture a narrative , scene, person or view so vividly and clearly, I highly recommend this book to fantasy lovers especially those who don’t normally read romance or webnovels, I think you’ll find yourself enraptured, my love and care for this story could only be matched by that of the authors who cearly has dedicated themselves to the telling of this romantic rabbit hole. 10/10 easily a all time favorite of mine.

The conversations where characters talk back and forth in this book is pure poetry, never before have I seen a book that has such perfectly written diaogues, the pacing and tension in this book really makes you hang on every word, your emotions while reading this book seem to match that of the FL and character around her, the book is a master piece and it’s one hell of a roller coaster ride. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
