+1 You could tweak it a little to be more like Voldemort and make it so he shares a body with a person who's already in the universe via a cult or something first. That would give more of a reason he wasn't detected until it was too late. Also, you could give a reason, like in his universe, the great one was weakened and looking for her successor, and the demon used that chance to slip through. Or you could just combine both, which would fill some plot holes.

I wouldn't call it a scam, just poorly implemented and rushed. I think if they slow the speed of webnovel posting to once or twice a week and lower the promised advanced chapters on their patreon, it would fix a lot of the issues.

Also, just like any translator, you have the right to get paid. I'd understand the complaints if this was just an MTL copy and paste, but unlike those who create a patreon for that, there is actual work that goes into this one.

I completely agree, I did find that off putting! Also I’m really glad to hear that, I have seen way to many authors go so far off the rails with the plot when doing this saying “The novel went down hill so I changed it.” Then just stop uploading because they didn’t know where to go with it. So I just wanted to check.

Just finished and felt comfortable leaving you a review now. I do have some advice, though. It's fine to make the story flow better and fix some things, but if I were you, I'd continue to leave the main story points in and not get to change happy. But at the end of the day, it's your choice. Just know that so far, you have my approval and attention. For whatever it's worth.

Wanted to read the original myself before leaving a review. Now that I have, I can officially say that this version is WAY better. Not only does the author show respect to the original story and plot, but he also changes it just enough to make the story flow better, as well as the characters and interactions feel more natural and believable. I also like that while interactions, characters, and plot points have been added or changed, I still feel I can switch back and forth from this, and the original and feel comfortable enough that I know what's happening with the main plot doing so. While the characters and interactions add more to the story, they dont affect the main story beats that the original author wrote. On a side note, I do have to mention this is more of an adaptation than a translation, but I have to say this is how adaptations should be done.

Honestly, it's been kinda a downhill spiral since that, so I've been kinda falling off myself. The author doubles down, and it just gets worse. I know they say to just shut off your brain while reading these, but the reasoning makes absolutely no sense, and neither does how he's using this scp. Anyone who is knowledgeable in scps can tell you the mc should be dead.

The story was good until the author started gender bending the MC back and forth with a scp that the author definitely did not study the rules of. I'm gonna try and push through because it is a decent story, but seeing as there is no gender bending tag or anything in the description that tells you, let this be your warning if this is not your cup of tea.
