Been really busy and my entire focus is on studies, so vsol's taking a brunt of it. In a week at most, I'll be free from my exams and will have enough time to reflect and improve vsol chaoters. I appreciate your criticism and am really glad you read this far. Yes, there have been a shift of focus and things seem a bit chaotic and mis-matched. From the start, vsol was all about slice of life and even later in the story, it was all about that. However, around 900-1000 chapter mark, there's some major developments and the plots picking up pace. I personally felt that readers were bored of the slice of life. some even asked me to fasten the plot a bit. hence, I did that. Another important thing was that I was unable to write slice of life for a while. There's been a lack of inspirations, and I felt that I might as well move the plot line instead. The story had to be driven forward. The execution may not be the best, but that’s the best I could come up with to open a new door for Lith to enter the higher realms. You are indeed right that there needs to be some negative emotion, but hey, this is a fantasy novel after all. As of now, Lith doesn’t feel relatable because his character growth had been stagnant. He hasn’t changed much other than become a bit serious. I’ll try to put more emphasis on him and his harem, but it’s been a thousand chapters now, and I need to drive the plot a bit forwards. Once I feel it’s sufficiently ahead, I’ll get back to character development and romcom slice of life :D

I am sorry to hear that. Vsol did indeed start out with a slice of life concept and romance, and soon branched out into arcs that people may/may not liked. All stories have their ups and downs, and if I feed everybody romance and just things related to slice of life, they’d be bored. Think of it this way: Your fav food is pasta. Since you like it very much, your mom starts cooking it for you everyday. For a week you might enjoy, for a month even, but after that, you’ll really get tired of it and start hating it. Once you’re at the disliking phase, you ask your mom to stop making it, but she still does it, and the dislike turns to absolute hate, and then you really just want to stop having pasta. Just like that, there’s some changes of pace needed. But don’t worry, the novel’s essence of it being a slice of life won’t ever change :)
