there are a few instances where the NPCs would reference conversations between the supreme beings back in yggdrasil, so it can definitely be presumed that the NPCs do remember stuff prior to the new world

Not all of the area guardians are level 100. Pandora's Actor and Aureole are the only ones. There are a couple in the 90s, the head chef is in the 70s, and Kyouhukou is only level 30, Though, the MC being level 100 is still entirely plausible
I was alone in the library luckily or sadly enough depending on how you look at it, and I was also the area guardian for the Alexandrian Codex, meaning my level was 100 for sure, this also meant I was known as the wisest person in all of Nazarick second only to the supreme ones. - TooLazyToWork3mthCommented

What made him scoff was how Danzo completely glossed over the fact that the ninja who had displayed "excellent results" was one of the few that Danzo had sent to assassinate him shortly after he regained the Hokage position, he only came to know of this after Kakashi informed him of the impending plan.
