From what I've realized recently, harem novels are good when the dangers of having a harem are emphasized or when the members are just flings with no serious relationships (eg. sinful emperor). It only ruins a story when it becomes a pokemon collection. Personally I dislike it when the mc spouts bullshit about loving everyone equally as such thing is nonsense (even with parental love there's always a favorite)

If you're that sensitive to "plagiarism", then as a good friend I'll advice you not to read a lot of xianxia. since most of them are just the same with different character names and cultivation level names. This novel despite several other flaws is still a harem masterpiece. And you should just accept that. If you don't, no problem. Every work, masterpiece or not will always have it's haters.

I just reread it and it's not the same. Besides, it's been ages since the plagiarism issue ended. Why can't you just enjoy a properly done harem novel? Also, apart from some se.x scenes he didn't plagiarize any other work, he just adopted their idea like how almost every other author does. And there's definitely nothing wrong with that.
