I just did, thanks for the suggestion, sorry if any confusion happened
He made it, just like his house and his former tent
No he's obviously not, it's just his knowledge of the one piece world and swordsmen
Thanks a lot for the review, you have no idea how much it means to me. As for the fighting experience, he literally has a couple set of moves from the manual that he uses, if he wants to dodge he will do 'this move' , if he wants to counter attack or retreat he will do 'that move'. I actually read a couple days ago an article about how a beginner swordsman would literally beat someone who trained for like 8 to 9 months, because the former's movements will be unpredictable. So there's really not much difference between Matthew's actual 'fighting skills' and the current opponents. Again thanks a lot for commenting on my work, it really helps, I often wonder if people actually read my book.
It's meant to be something that he has already, it's just his memory getting in the way. About the effect tho, it's not really that powerful, I just wanted to give him a cool bloodlust or killing intent.
It's good but a little bit overrated not gonna lie. So we start off with aokiji, the youngest member in the Yuki clan, who secretly holds the soul of a 20yo transmigrater, being given kuzan's df from one piece he became the 'ice man' . Very interesting concept. However I don't get why you had him reincarnate like almost 50 years before Canon, he already knows the future, has a very strong cheat being his logia type df, so by the time the akatsuki start doing akatsuki things he would be so overpowered it's literally not gonna matter what they do. I mean imagine it, by the age of 7 he already beat A JONIN, the so called 'elite ninja' (underneath only anbu in power/ranking) , has mastered the majority of marines 6 powers which would normally take atleast years to do so. It's so comedic when he's this powerful and still thinks/cares about madara and danzo, they really shouldn't be an issue if you can basically freeze an entire army without breaking a sweat. The side characters are fine by themselves, nothing too special just a little bit too generic and boring, take the kaguya clan for example (mei, her brother and father) they are so stupid it's actually insane how a clan this dumb hasn't already collapsed from within, it's also very hard to take them seriously when all they do is abuse their youngest member who managed to unlock his bone powers for no reason, just to appear 'cool' and 'different' I guess. The writing style is somewhat decent, although you could improve the characters interaction with each other a lot.
Honestly it's very ...meh , I would have liked it much more if the characters didn't behave like a bunch of mentally challenged 9 year-olds, while I was reading I noticed that I didn't give a single fuck about any of the characters, their fates, their background, their emotions, ambitions feelings... I simply did not care, why is the villain so one-dimensional? Why is Rio so edgy? Why is Lia so abnoxious? Why is fade so pathetic and unlikable? Why is it that whenever one of those S/SS rank heroes show up and does something it feels so underwhelming and somewhat forced? The first few chapters should always play a big role in establishing an interesting premise , perhaps give us a good impression of the Mc as the mysterious cool guy that we would like to know more about and even some authors like to dive deep into human psychology to explain the mc's behavior. unfortunately, the beginning of this novel did a terrible job at that, we barely get to know about his previous life and why did he become this 'selfish'. And I'm asking myself at this point, what's the point of transmigration? It feels like it's put there for the sake of having it in the novel tags
Oh hey there lol Nice to meet you lol My name is dragonheart lol Fuck me lol
Honestly this novel has a lot of potential, it could be up there in the future with author's pov, But as of now it could get a lot better. Author you should put more weight into your story, for example we never knew how many students are actually attending the academy or how many teachers are teaching what subjects and how the educational system actually works, and for being called the 'best' academy it's a little bit weird how a mere C-rank could become a teacher, considering that they are teaching nobility, you know like... Noble households that are probably filled with S or SS rank members. You could also expand the main cast, I think 3-5 characters is a little bit on the small side but it wouldn't an issue if they get enough character development
