It wasn't just a matter of lost magic crystals. Any magic artefacts was in short supply, even in the Ivory Tower. Arthur could have raised his strength, and that of his faction many folds just by owning a couple more magic artefacts.

Although it was a pity, Arthur immediately grinned upon seeing the blue window in front of him.

Though his magic power was a bit low, he wasn't very far from levelling once more, and his [Ice Arrow] proficiency was nearing the [Advanced] Mastery realm. In the [Ivory Tower], no acolyte had managed to reach this realm, including the three advanced rank acolytes: the Master of Ravens relied on his contracted magical beasts to dominate as a lone wolf, the Crimson Clan Patriarch, even in his prime, had only reached intermediate mastery of his spells at best. As for the Arcane Master, his strength lied in his golem manufacturing skills, rather than spells themselves.

Considering the fact that he almost never went out of the Ivory Tower and spent his time in research, it would be quite amazing for him to possess any intermediate mastery spell.

In comparison, the battle-born Arthur could be called an irregularity.
