I really wanted to give this 5 stars, but it just reminds me of the other novel too much.

I started reading this novel and for the first few chapters, I was fully immersed and enjoying the ride. After those few chapters, the story felt eerily familiar but I chalked it upto me reading way too many webnovels and being a little too biased. However, the more I read, the more that I realised that this book is an exact copy paste of Supreme Magus. Literally. I don't know why the author claims that this is an original work. Sure, i understand incorporating elements of various novels into your work, but the plot line that this novel follows is almost similar to Supreme Magus, but a poorer version.

Are there going go be kingdom building elements to this novel? It seems like he's building a team of sorts.

I'm really curious about his injury. What caused it and what was he doing for 1000 years?

I'm loving this novel. Great chapter! How far off are we from the Academy?
