I feel it hard for Zeres man. His whole immortal life, just when he thought he could get to be with the one he love, it gets taken away from him. First, Abigail, then Alicia and now Iryz, he got it bad, hard.. And all he wants is just a peaceful, simple life he didn't even get to enjoy it enough and always get thrown to tight situations.

Point in case perhaps to justify the amount of time it has been for both of them. Haha.

One of the better contemporary novels around, it's hard to plan out a story where you have to consider the current society norms and how each steps taken to get to each phase but this presents it wonderfully.

Even if you mean well for Ember to learn and grow, the least you could do is ensure that you have made clear of your feelings to her isn't it? She keeps assuming you did what you did for no reason and now she's getting mocked for it by someone close to you. Ugh.. the lack of communication is real.

I'm loving this, how comfortable Seren is now to be able to converse with Drayce without question or doubts like before. I guess getting tricked and almost kidnapped made her not want to waste any chances anymore.
