In the 4th paragraph of chapter 396 I believe it states that someone must spend real soul essence even though it’s just and “illusion” in the dreamscape arena I personally believe that the dreamscape might be asterions domain. It doesn’t conflict with either of the two clans which is why it’s not in danger of being taken over it’s kind of anomalous as to why you need to expend real Essence and even more. Asterion seems to be “off to the side” despite being a sovereign so I think maybe asterion is the real big threat as opposed to valor or song.

Lone wolf only works with vastly overpowered MCs and sunny is obviously not. His character is made to be a slightly co-dependent he has a cohort and a team he works with his strengh comes from his ability to hide his strength’s because he is around strong people

I would’ve thought that sunless under the visage of mongrel would join since he has favor already and they might be able to help him hide his strength since he would have the backing of a major clan and it would make sense for sunny to be strong and be a good disguise if he joined “alongside” mongrel

I’ve been reading since it had a few dozen chapters and the quality and character development has been phenomenal with characters being consistent and mot changing outside their respective “personality” and it all feels like a incredibly real story while being so unique in most aspects and without being forced and all I can say is that the more I read I simply can’t say anything but praise for it and it’s wonderfully crafted world it takes place In
