Until you lose the remote with the light turned off, then you spend weeks living in the dark hoping for salvation.
I quite like this fiction. I'd place it in the top 20-25% of all Naruto FF with significant length. It's one of the best on this site (I can't read poorly translated "Join my Patreon for 150 chapters ahead" BS tho.) I do think the author is going a bit slow sometimes, but the action and politics are intriguing, and the "build" of the MC is examined in a way I enjoy. If you read this review looking for advice on starting this fic or not, I'd say to give it a real chance you have to go through the first arc, which can be a bit of a depressing read. (Review at C206 - read on a better website)
WQ: Mistakes that were commented on 5+ months ago are not fixed, heck: the translator sometimes likes the comments. You can't tell me they don't see them. Some sentences make zero sense for a typical English-speaking reader who doesn't regularly read MTL. CD: MC acts rather stupid from chapters 2-3, not looking good for the future. So yeah, I will not continue hurting my eyes, but you do you.
Yeah... No. If the system goal is to make the shop famous all around the Pokeglobe, then is the MC's role to look stupid and be a background character? He has the first part down for now at least.
When a MC loses their memories, I'm out, instantly. Too many bad experiences. It feels like a cheap way authors try to forcefully create action/novelty while stalling the main plotline, tends to take too long, and why tf would anyone want to read about not quite MC breaking their relationships and losing their goals cause they can't remember who they are? Plus Alzheimer's is the leading cause of death in my family....
Good system stories are fun to read, but they are not common, for they require a great deal of balance and work. Often, the system is so busted that it stops mc from having any kind of challenge, stoping any actual growth (other than numbers go big). Other times, authors forget/misuse their own system, making their MC look like a fool, breaking reading immersion.
