I thought the system specifically told him when he first got it, that "assassinating those around the protagonist" was a way of going about things without directly killing the protagonist, thus not being affected by whatever dumb rules of the protagonists halo.
didnt even try to bargain... with the 'Grandmaster's' personality he would've heard him out. After all even though he's a tyrant, he dislikes trouble. And considering the MC's strength, it seems like unnecessary trouble to even suggest the first option. He'd at most present an accord(deal), for instance... "you clearly came here for a reason, seeing your strength and ruthless bloodshed, I have to ask what you're after. Whatever it is, with my ability I'm willing to exchange it assuming you work for me and if that isn't very interesting to you, then you can choose to fight in the arena against the champion... considering there's a current lack of contenders". That makes much more sense for his cunning and deceptive personality than just straight forward "do this or die". plus this is becoming more and more Chinese as we progress... 1000 catties? really? I have no issue with it, besides the fact you used different measurements originally. I also have to agree with a previous comment... this chapter is BEYOND forced... it's the equivalent of watching a non gamer play a game. Incredibly frustrating and you have to force yourself to endure it. Forgive my rant... I am currently in an annoyed state.
... Is every iron related object going to be Iron-Man? I mean Iron-Man Door, Really? I've ignored it so far but it's quite literally every time Iron appears... love the novel, the way it's going is quite well. But I mean... it shouldn't be that hard to disassociate Iron-Man from iron objects.
never been to Thailand before?
that or translator is probably losing interest in this. thus lowering the quality.
computer code stuff, basically a mistake that was left in when this was created. (Written by an ai not a real person. some aspects might be original, however i had my suspicion and this has proven it.)
Just to be straightforward, this novel IS NOT about an undead named Orion, it's about EVERY OTHER character in the story that isn't him. even goblins get more scenes than him. if you like a story about random adventurers fighting back against the forces of evil then yeah sure this book is for you. But if you want a story of how Orion turned into a lich then, you've probably come to the wrong place. then again I may be wrong, after all I've only read to chapter 60, and there's only been around 12-20 chapters that actually involve the main character. so you be the judge. Either way I won't be reading more, as I feel lied to.
so the 30 points he gained from eliminating the 3 people from the enemy guild just don't exist I guess... alright... I guess it doesn't matter that much... my consistency will be forever thrown off while reading this but otherwise it's still pretty good.
used the wrong name in this chapter during a fight. Long Fei is injured and lying on the ground, weaponless... you probably meant the MC, who has a short sword and is almost unrivaled in terms of speedy attacks... it also makes sense as the character that engages in combat with Shen Lun is standing in front of Long Fei.
I mean, I understand that the MC is pretty much just grinding his death streak... but can all of the side character stuff NOT take so much space. I'd rather read the story of the MC instead of the story of every other thing happening in this world that has quite literally NO EFFECT on what's happening with the MC. To me, these past few "auction" chapters have been nothing but filler.
they meant irl.
can we not refer to a single character as "fresh meat" when quite literally ALL OF THEM are there to sign up... which would make ALL OF THEM "fresh meat" and even if they're already working for the military, who in their right mind would randomly harass a bystander, IN FRONT of a high ranking individual. even if she wasn't there, the fact remains that they're there to sign up, and pulling a stunt like that is basically just signing a death warrant during training if you happen to be put together... people hold grudges after all.
the only plot hole I've noticed so far is that they somehow know he got married... even though he didn't tell anyone, and there wasn't any sort of celebration... "oh well they might've discovered it when passing by the town they were at, or maybe have people spying on him." first option is unlikely as it was pretty much destroyed within an hour after they left, and the second one makes even less sense... who are they going to have under their control that can spy on a random alchemist if they're all low level cultivators. a human? well they would rather die than anger a cultivator they're unfamiliar with, so that's not plausible. even if it was a cultivator would notice something if they were being followed for that long. once again, nothing against it, I'm just really trying to figure it out. đđ đ¤
live explosives, aimed at high level personnel... and you tell me this is a drill? right... I guess killing high rank officers in a drill would make the practice more "effective"... Totally not cripple military operations for a while until a replacement is available, or hinder further training due to injury and lack of manpower...
