Thats because they are supposed to be dumb in the way of science. They don't invent anything. everything they use, they just replicated from things left behind from long ago and they don't understand how it works. everything else, they use their powers for, so they don't have any need to invent anything else.

They can't hurt him, but they can make him lose energy, which is what he's avoiding. also, letting them know that they have nothing else they could possibly do to him is a good way of making them stop needlessly wasting their energy that he would otherwise absorb.

I mean, we have 33 Immortal realms, and I've kinda already confirmed 4 other realms he HAS to visit. I truly don't think I have any idea of what I'm getting myself into here. Me saying 4000 is just me being optimistic about the future. Even with the very rough idea of how Alex's literal journey will go, I fear the total number might reach 5000.

Battle Power is basically how much higher than your own cultivation realm you can fight. the reasoning can be dependent on your body constitution, weapons, technique etc. I'll explain this more in detail later in the story.

Its less about his battle power changing and more about his True Immolation Strike making it look as though he had 10 Battle Power since its damage output is equivalent to an Immortal Origin 2nd realm cultivator. His actual battle power is still 9.
