How can she discuss her marriage with a husband that refuses to engage in even a simple conversation with her? He doesn't even say good night. Her friends have observed his behavior and their description of it is accurate. Just because we know his feelings doesn't mean she does. If he's not going to make a better effort then she has every right to choose people who pay attention to her feelings.

I think this is really the only time she's unfairly been dismissive. Previously she was advocating for living the life that made her happy when HE was dismissive of HER feelings. If she failed to find a path that also made her content she would eventually resent him anyway. But, really 90% of their issue is not talking to one another earnestly about their feelings and motivations. I really hope they get there.
