I have been playing virtual wrestling since 16 and have been dropping time to time and still come back to play with my friends which I got by playing with, now I write promos for 1k words per 3 days and feel drained the same way I was feeling before and even if I’ll drop soon - I will still return when one of my friend will call me back after I will feel inspiration. I don’t write fanfics but I think that the process is similar. And I like your work

Dude just enjoy the process, after and if you finish the story write another one, you write good story so I’ll not be surprised if you will write something good. If you want to drop it’s also ok just a bit sad (for me specifically), but if you feel like it’s your job then no need to exhaus yourself

Love the story, especially the way the emotions and feelings of MC described, especially the way MC going from feeling guilty of occupying the body of child and pretending to be a son and a brother in the family to accepting the feelings for his mother who doesn’t understand the struggles and feels the distance between her and her son. The moment when MC calls Mikoto mom instead of mother is constructed properly and doesn’t feel like a rush to give him motivation. The translation is also top notch (only considering some typos in gender of characters when the author calls Konan “He”, but that’s not critical, if you know that Konan is a woman ofc)
