So if she actually had feelings for the Mc - logically, she would do similar if not the same things. This fic in terms of Eve's actions are rather following the show instead of the comics.

searched it up, and yes, she did - but Mark isn't gay like William, granted no one knew he was gay at the time - that meant their relationship probably didn't get to 3rd base. Now, with Mark, if she has the same intention - she's now playing with Mc's brother, who is definitely a straight man - and what? Once Mc is open, she is just going to jump ship? Even the 'intention' of getting close to the Mc sounds like a reach at best since when she came to speak about going to live in the forest, she told Mark alone - and even now she is not making any 'effort' to include the Mc and have an excuse to be around him. honestly, I'm not saying she should stay single until the Mc is free, but going the brother route is mental, and I don't think any sane good person would jump into a relationship like that - even if they're 'flawed'. granted, Mark's probably going to get back with Amber after the approaching fight that will happen, but at this point, I don't know. I just feel it could've been handled better..........

after what Eve did with the Mc, I'm still a bit lost on how Mark's relationship is developing with her - it's honestly disappointing. at this point, feels like unnecessary drama at this point and makes me see Eve in a lesser light - I mean she sleeps with one brother and now she's onto the next. granted Mc is in a relationship, but this is leaving a sour taste in my mouth - feels kinda forced for the 'plot'. or maybe I'm just reading too much into the situation 🤔, I wanna hit the Mc on the head.😂

for more insight I recommend the author should watch a movie called The Big Short, it's a story about certain few people who predicted the housing market collapse and their actions before it happened to also show the results of them following through with shorting the market. Micheal Burry, a very prominent figure to this day was one of the few who predicted the fall, and his actions are also detailed in the movie - according to how everything happened Micheal had a huge Roi percentage creating an insurance instrument for betting on the fall, the instrument ended up sitting comfortably way over 400% in profit - letting him walk away with reportedly $100 million and his investors $700million. while other characters like Mark Baum, based on Steve Eisman, earned $1 billion. and they all could've made much more, than what they did cause their actual ROI was less than the over 400% returns the insurance instrument actually provided, but because they were not sure if the bank would pay them if they made a claim because of the circumstances and how they were smaller fish compared to the banks - they decided to use one of the clauses in the insurance that allows them to sell it but at a lowered cost. so in actuality, they made more of a 150% Roi than the over 400% they could've made.🤷🏻‍♂️
