Overall loving this chapter and the leadup to the battle. Just having a hard time keeping track of space and direction in the dungeon. Just thinking along the lines of how he is hearding all these skeletons to the adventurer group and they are not breaking off down other halls. In no way a detriment to the chapter overall just a thought.
Overall liking this series so far. The whole mystery of the dungeon has a nice appeal and is interesting to follow. The only thing I would say comes up in the series that I don't care about too much is the MC's past. There may be something that comes up later on that makes this plot interesting but for now I am happy that it comes up minimally.
Overall I am enjoying the story so far. Its an interesting world an interesting world and it is nice to see how the MC gets himself out of his problems. The main issue I would have is that the initial setting made me think that the MC would be fighting characters at or below his level and barely surviving by the skin of his teeth even though in theory he should completely overpower his foes due to the underpowered class. thus far though, first 100 chapters the MC is still fighting enemies over his level. It is not that much of an issue but I was expecting the perspective to be different. that could all change in the later chapters and it is engaging enough though so I will continue reading to see how it goes.
Overall love the story. The characters can be a bit trope-e but they are still humorous. I also love how the story flows overall. not everything is necessarily wrapped up in a neat bow but instead from time to time things are neatly shelved and float around which gives a nice feel for pacing and organic development of plot rather than everything being able to just be resolved and closed up with ease.
Up to chapter 70 at the moment. Overall enjoying this but just thinking back now on the MC's change from scaredy-cat to stone cold murderer. it does feel like the change in the MC made sense over the time and circumstances but looking back to the beginning it really is drastic. Overall though I am loving the series and how the MC is evolving with his power.
Read up to chapter 40 so far. The story feels a little bit trope-e so far with the underpowered main character with some strong growth skill. The main difference that makes it feel a bit more refreshing is that the MC really does desire the power and treasures that are dangled in front of him just for the sake of it being nice, and not in a fashion that would make the MC feel too greedy either, just ambitious. I really love the worldbuilding though and how they build up the new world and both the merits and demerits of it. excited to see how it further fleshes out as the story continues.
Honestly don't know how I feel about Xiao Lin coming forward about Gu Xiaoyue's lifespan here. On the one hand I feel like it is better character wise to not have him hold the secret and make some plot point about how he is keeping secrets from her but on the other hand the way it plays out makes her feel closer to Xiao Lin than they probably are at this point. Could also be that Gu Xiaoyue's cold demeanor does not come out enough here to make her seem like she put back on the mask to cover up how she feels about Xiao Lin knowing her lifespan though.
Now I know to avoid every paragraph that mentions games, because someone will comment this.
