Zane was not particularly interested in using this slave for carnal desires, unlike everyone else who was in attendance at this slave auction. Instead, he was more interested in the girl because of the lifeless expression on her face. Why is it that the author foregoes any logic here. I mean, was it so hard to put some thought into what you are writing .

hmmm..... I'm confused here, someone who's forced to be a slave wouldn't cut your throat when they could !?? I mean , if I was a slave I wouldn't pass up on the opportunity to sabotage the people who bought me and escape from slavery. I can think of few explanations such as him not abusing them and giving the a semblance of control over their lives in order to win their loyalty but this doesn't seem like the act of our "I'll pull the trigger on anyone and everyone I'll find and then wonder why every other survivor seems to be hostile " protagaonist . Once a means to fight for their freedom is given to them they are as prone to stab you as any other survivor . I welcome any other perspective or argument to my line of thinking .

Trying so very desperately to not change anything from the movie . I kinda understand the meaning of "puking blood in frustration" now . I'm doing it after reading this....this .... whatever the author is trying to do .
