OK.....there is a massive difference between knowledge and experience. He has knowledge of a bunch of runes and learned a couple of arrays that he JUST learned a few hours ago. Yet suddenly he's tossing dozens of arrays out during combat with CULTIVATORS..... he doesn't have the time. And I would argue that his speed of creating arrays would not yet be up to that. Just as there is a massive difference between knowing a programming language and actually writing programs.
I haven't read this novel yet(still deciding), but that forced scenario where they never try to talk and explain that they didn't want/know/like that stupid/idiotic girl in the first place is a big killer for novels in my opinion... it's like they expect you to have brain damage and just accept that someone would rather fight (possibly to the death) rather than just explain.
The MC is a thoroughly unlikable man-child with a chip on his shoulder and a huge amount of plot armor to keep him safe. He walks through the world; it seems his main purpose is to make enemies. 22 chapters was as much as I could stomach. I sincerely recommend the author think more about power and balance, I can see a major nerf is going to have to happen to deal with him long term. That's the sad problem with making overpowered protagonists nearly every single time. Also, all the things that your MC is supposed to 'know' and have done... He may be a huge genius and super soldier, but you had him die at age 25, human time and energy are FINITE. You can't get all of those things done reasonably in 25 years and STILL leave time for the girlfriend and the vengeance he was apparently seeking for her (It's chapter one, so not a spoiler). Next time, try having him be a few more decades old in his first life, it would be more rational to have been able to learn and do all those things in his 40s/50s/60s.
This MC is more and more annoying. He seems intent on making people hate him. Also, he's actually risking all his money when he obviously doesn't have to do so. What if something unforeseen happened and he lost, or they were just corrupt and kept it. It's like he's got a chip on his shoulder, walking around and daring people to knock it off. It's really childish, isn't the MC supposed to be an intelligent adult? His actions do NOT support him being an adult at this point. More like a willful man-child wanting to get attention.
I completely agree. This MC is utterly moronic.
I like tradeskills(and I like no harem!) ... but this MC is too arrogant, and too stupid. In a strength-based society he is showing wealth too easily. It's like he's begging to be attacked. Initially he was all about being low key.... then suddenly he's an arrogant young master all on his own. Not sure how many more chapters I can tolerate of him being overpowered, arrogant, and stupid.
