These growing pains weren't anything new but he had apparently hit a bit of a growth spurt in the last few days and gained three inches in that time. At five feet three inches Nick was slightly taller than an average thirteen year old boy two months past his birthday would be. He wasn't freakishly tall or anything like that though just a little taller than was normal. After eating Nick got dressed in a set of jeans and a blue t-shirt covered by his favorite coat that Madam Maxim had gifted him at christmas. It was said during the beginning but before she got out of the tomb thing that she got all the memories so she has an actual past and actually existed back then, she wasn’t just dropped in like in some other fics, meaning yes she has actual memories of back then and stuff like experience or she would have using her powers more at the beginning even if she has perfect control

Depends on the scarring, some scarring destroys the nerve ending and thus like you said makes it less sensitive but sometimes it leaves the nerve ending more exposed or even just damaged in which case it would be more sensitive or sometimes even outright painful to the touch.

So with the help of Hermione, while still taking Hagrid's opinion into account, we managed to have a good outline of how the semester can go. We have a concrete plan for the next two months at least, and Hagrid agreed to run interesting opportunities passed either me, Christian or Hermione so he doesn't get a bit too carried away and hurt his reputation as a teacher too much. I also told him it's ok to make mistakes, but you have to avoid repeating them. He has to take some of what the students say into account and hammer in what they need to know even if they complain. This is especially important around magical creatures. You need to know exactly what you are doing when around them, because all of them have ways to defend themselves and harm others. Except for the mighty Flobberworm I think.
