Wyntor, telling his one friend that he made a mistake 5 years ago when they were both basically children that he regrets: deserves death. Nick standing on piles of corpses of innocent bystanders, office clerks, janitors, and extractors who were somehow âcomplicitâ despite knowing nothing about a situation: completely justified. God if I didnât love the worldbuilding in these novels I wouldnât be able to read them. Author has an uncanny ability to make his protagonists the most unlikeable, hypocritical, out of touch, and psychopathic characters imaginable and yet puts them right in the middle of such an interesting story I canât help but keep reading.
