To be honestScientists there were doing it pretty much for their enjoyment. In a most torturous and wasteful way.When Otto does something questionable or evil, it's for its purpose not for his enjoyment.If Otto was in control he would have made it efficient and not a horror show, he would rather have his subjects survive because that kind of data is much more important.Hell, if he was in direct control they probably would have finished the research before they took Sirin there.If not, they would have been treated much better and valued more alive.Sirin and her friends probably would have been treated and lived better.All of them would have survived, and later after the research was completed they would have been placed in Teresa's school.

This story is just falling apart and it's irritating to read. We read about other people's meaningless conversations when, not only do they take away time, but they also make it feel like Cypher doesn't do anything at all and ...it probably is happening too. Throughout the whole talking, Cypher should have already been there. First Cypher didn't try to meet Wanda before He didn't sense Apokalypse And the same with Rouge He has portal and knowledge but what he does, NOTHING AND SO MUCH MORE!!!
