Because the author already told us... Saint is a mix of a shadow spawn and a creature of darkness. Her shadow abilities are gifts from Sunnys ability. That his shadow Nightmare has powers to influence dreams is just the nature of its being, like the LO49 creature. Just because one acsended can become essentially water like Naeve does not mean Sunny can do it. Just because Mordret can dive into peoples souls does not mean Sunny can do that. Just because Nephis can heal with her ability does not mean Sunny can. Sunnys abilities all stem from taking control over shadows. For now shadows have to accept him as their champion and respect his authority but that does not mean they have to, though in the future they might do. All i am saying is that there is no evidence that Sunny might get darkness affinity abilities, yes the marble shell will evolve with him but it is(or was) already a type VII memory and should have all its abilities unlocked but they will get stronger (i think), i mean it would be cool if that would be his gateway to darkness affinity but i dont think so, atleast for now

Well his Cores only function to give him more essence, additional shadows and increased physical ability. so no. Also Darkness is the domain of the Nether, Lord of the Underworld, one of the Daemons, as the known lore would imply he/she is the flaw of one of the Gods. So makes no sense to give one of the godly lineages the power of their Flaws. Maybe when he becomes a Saint his Attribute of the Marble Shell (then Onyx Shell) will give him some abilities towards darkness, but i doubt it, also beyond this point i still have no idea what transformation Sunny will get as a Saint, or what his additional ability will be, maybe a domain of shadow ability though previous chapters would indicate that that will probably happen when Sunny becomes a Sovereign

an eastern saber is still that "arabian saber", unless you mean eastern europe than it would be even lighter, infact no saber in history was two-handed, do you mean like a dadao? or like a two-handed falchion? all sabers in history have been single handed swords, ofcorse there are exceptions but the exception is not the rule. do you think scimitars are heavy swords? well they were not, that would be a fantasy trope, by your description it sounds like a single edged warsword. like longer/heavier than a longsword but with a single edge, though that makes no sense as "sword" is as sharp as it can be so the benefit of the single edge doesn't apply, so why the single edge? the second edge is always a benefit. The best form for sword should be a long a bit more heavier greatsword, long straight double edged, you have reach, cutting capacity and they don't need to be heavy.

by the facts we've been given, these people live and breath physical confrontation, survival of the fittest. but they have no concept of fighting? they have advanced minds from tje general outline of strengthening their bodies but were incapable of creating any kinds of basic fighting techniques? my suspension of disbelief is stretched thin to the max, these guys should be incredibly adept at barehanded combat but for some reason they are not? come on man are they all actually three year old in the body of adults, you mentioned that they look to be older than mc but they have less experience in just about everything, i get the whole being imprisoned and suppressed but to the point they got not even basic barehanded fighting down?

i liked the concept of the barbarian but it seems stupid to me that they dont have simple concepts, they are around knowledgable people but don't get any concepts from this. Also it seems very weird to me that barbarians level and physical strength don't correlate, they don't use mana so it is not the defining trait, so physical capacity should be equal to level yet it doesn't ? please explain what makes it possible to destinquish that, because battle strength is something different, and i understand that height helps in that regard and is independent from level

to fire comes from igniting powder in canons, muskets or pistols... you release an arrow, you loose an arrow and shoot a bow, but you cannot fire an arrow... you at the least fire or shoot the apparatus that propels the projectile, like firing a firearm... you also don't shoot bullets, you shoot bullets from a gun, to fire means triggering or igniting a firearm, to shoot means to launch a projectile

if you are on a sphere, you can not see the curvature, the horizon is the fartherst point you can see, after that the curve is so much you cannot see further, that is the horizon, if anything has a curve you cannot look behind what is hidden from the land and mountains even on mount everest or from a plane you cannot look that far, and because of the size of earth and how light work even from space earth looks flat unless you look at it while the sun is behind it somewhat

these must be the worst sword techniques in history, any slash, stab, riposte or parry should be and combination should end in a "guard", a position where adjustment is possible, a position where your sword is between you and your target. Any technique that uses jumps is bad, evading twisting and turning mid air is hard, and who would jump after either they fight and focus on each other or one flees in either situation the best course is to stay and be on guard, you can react as soon as he comes back. also you cannot push while in the air, there be lots of power wasted, as you cannot form a kinetic chain with the ground.... as soon as you hit something and you are not fast and stiff enough during the hit while being mid air, most energy will be lost, if you have the power to jump that high, you will have plenty of power trying a simple strike/slash to bisect that enemy

We get to readabout strughles even if they are minor, we get to read about whats on Gravis' mind and we get to have a tangible feeling that Gravis is building his power... They are the best kind of content, and with that assassin we may even get to see what he is able to accomplish reading how his efforts may pay off, or that through his dedicated comprehension he may loose a bit of his self lick the Black Magnet is also nice, there may come consequences for only focusing on power, Honestly your framwqork for how you build those chapters are kind of hard to find boring, in a sense things repeat but all in all, but they all are unique enough that i am intrigued and want to know more
