I was saying it in a way that is easy to understand, the soul is a complicated idea, and the only things people hear about it is movies, “soul mates”, anime where ito an excuse for bullshit, and uses like a “force ghost” and similar. I went with an option that technically is religious and can be seen as “yeah, I control myself after I died because of (insert thing here)” But most myths have the soul as immortal and usually have it as the one infinite thing in a person

Blood and shadow exist, shadow is in the comics. Honestly I would only restrict it to “only bending and powers of the universe you go into and similar abilities” Fire bending and raikage lightning Armor or Killua lightning mode? Probably what I would choose
