You do make a good point, I guess in that case I let my own views and opinions decide instead of a war-mindset. I was thinking of a few ancient japanese war stories I recall, during these scenes, and of how warriors were dishonored for poisoning enemy soldiers' food by night, rather than facing them in fair combat

it's an honor thing. Succupixies can make venom, yes, but at the same time, resorting to such cheap tricks would make them no better than the humans who'd tried to infect and kill Hina- they won fairly in the own right, even against such dishonorable and horrible people.
