I wouldn't worry. A lot of these idiots will end up dead and then I can take their water. If nobody dies, I'll be ok being a little dehydrated - it's only 3 days.
Much of the story doesn't make sense - at first. Why is all the fighting turn-based? Why do beasts still live after being killed? Why are so many characters dumb? Why do beast tamers get a monthly allowance? Replace the phrase 'spirit beast' with Pokimons and it makes more sense. All the main characters are children.
This is a very long action story where the main character (MC) repeatedly wins against overwhelming odds against a wide variety of enemies and circumstances. This is NOT a slice-of-life story. Don't expect romantic storylines or introspective character development. Expect to make enemies of almost EVERYBODY and coming out on top. The world is massive and there is always something going on. If dangling plot threads annoy you, this isn't the novel for you. If you appreciate having a massive and mysterious unexplained universe with new things constantly gong on, you'll love Gods' Domain.
The writer made her pretty. She's protected by powerful plot armor.
This has happened all the time. German scientists were coerced by their country to build rockets to kill Allied troops. They were given the chance to atone for their crimes by building better rockets for America.
He started an intimate relationship with her with the intent of one day betraying her. The reader should understand that he's fully capable of killing her.
I like seeing character growth. I'm surprised at seeing what I originally assumed would be a Mary Sue, almost get killed, and become humbled. I have mixed feelings seeing him become super overpowered and cocky again. I like how he fools around without revolving the story around harem building. The biggest flaw is that the character doesn't feel grounded. He doesn't have loved ones. His pets are his closest family. Any sense of tragedy and loss are long forgotten and so the story lacks a visceral groundedness to it.
not all their efforts were taken by him... only 12% of their efforts!
