To be fair though, Castle definitely has a very good grasp over the English language in the show. He constantly riffs everyone on the main cast for speaking 'proper' English

Yep, I know about it from Rookie also! Warning: light spoiler followed by vague big spoiler!! But Agent Ford didn't officially list Ben as an undercover operative which will be revealed a little later! So he wouldn't have appeared there. (We're still not at the point of the story where that's important 30 chapters later. Still working towards it :) ) Thanks for the heads-up though, appreciate it!

that's what I thought for most of the later SVU episodes... Benson was abducted and almost raped how often in the 20 years that show was/is on? She was constantly scowling and overcompensating for anything she did sooo... in my mind I did Benson's portrayal justice, I think
