yeah, and why would magicals use the symbol, too? that's what's bothering the MC

"Going into medicine is a noble calling. I heard that it might be possible to get taught in the healing arts by Poppy Pomfrey, the mediwitch of Hogwarts if your grades are excellent for a few years," he said with a smile as he looked toward the staff table for the first time to look at the healer in question who was easily identified because of the red cross on her hat. How a red cross of all things was the symbol she would use to show her status as a healer was a question Talion would likely ask her at some point in the future.

yeah, sure, could be him in his mid 20s with the scar and slightly darker hair

Over thirteen years after his birth, the scar was a literal pale remnant of what it once was, but even with his fair complexion, it was still noticeable. It didn't mar his decently handsome appearance, though, because instead of drawing attention to his fairly tall nose, it drew attention to his deep blue eyes that sometimes reflected with bronze specks in the correct light.

MC has killed plenty of people at the current chapter count. Just doesn't go murder hobo on everyone who wronged him in situations that don't allow it. (Like the one idiot who left a review telling me the story is trash because MC 'allowed people to live' despite attacking him. While at Hogwarts. While still not able to cast more than half of the first year spell curriculum. With nerve damage and an untrained, hurting body. My MC is more meticulous...)

You're right, of course! We all know that people are very linear and generally see the world in black and white. This is why it is very known that people break up relationships and family bonds over singular issue disagreements. We also know that people immediately share their point of view about literally everything upon their first meeting to decide if the other party is worthy of befriending or not. And, of course, nobody has ever withheld or otherwise lied to another person to keep them in their lives. Thanks for pointing out another important plothole in my writing, champ.

"You raise a good point. Sirius is dangerously close to that old goat leading the school. He will report your presence like the obedient dog he is. Oh, how I hope he gives up his title after birthing my house a litter of worthy offspring so that I may raise them right!"

He can try and make a claim, but his father and uncle and the uncle's wife are still alive and they definitely did not write Talion in their will. The remaining 'crazy aunt' is the key problem + his mother wasn't legally married to Rabastan, only sold to birth a kid if possible. The resolution for this that I thought off will come in a few chapters (54, 55 maybe 56, not sure yet)

0%. She is a character with a definite interest in history, though. I guarantee you know her for it, too

non US American here, this is how I write thousands. there's literally 3 digits not 2 after the . and it's money, not kilograms or something.

"Sure. Your family was too poor to have a general manager, and I took the ledger with me in case you asked. Your vault contains 8.947 galleons, 321 sickles, and 102 knuts," the goblin started to leisurely explain as they shot downward in the rollercoaster cart that would take them to his vault. "Your family has no outstanding debts, neither owing or receiving, one plot in Knockturn Alley rented out to a brothel run by some rather unsavory folk, and the deeds to a magical home in Glasgow. Nothing else is managed by Gringotts for the Macnairs."

Dumbledore at most expects that Harry needs to die, and not because he is a horcrux. It's not like the prophecy says, "Harry J Potter has to be killed because of his lightning bolt scar." Just that they (dark lord + whoever is the child) have to die at the hands of the other and that neither can live while the other survives. I bet even canon Dumbledore from before all puzzle pieces (horcruxes + resurrection stone) fell into place would be surprised that Harry came out of it alive

So the scar over the ridge of Talion's nose had no chance of being a horcrux like canon Harry's lightning bolt scar. It was just a barely treated cursed scar, healed by his own magic. One of the many things Dumbledore would pay for at a later date in the boy's mind.

Lucas Bole. Elder brother of Slytherin's beater Lucian Bole. He graduated this year. He was the father of two children from his fiancee Bernice Derrick. I feared I didn't have a chance to deal with him for a long time... though, I was a little apprehensive about the fact that I made two kids half orphans.

of course you all remember that from chapter 021! Where Talion and Lavender share some gossip and talk about how older students already have kids during their Hogwarts years and Talion quipped that Lucas tried to have Bernice copy Molly Weasley's feet of birthing her husband an entire Quidditch team since they were on their second kid before graduation

uh, no? they start Hogwarts 3 years later, but Harry and the rest are still born like in the original timeline

"We find ourselves here today on Friday, the 4th of August 1995 at 1pm in hearing room 13C to determine whether or not the minor Talion Macnair, born 31st of July 1980, is fit to be seen as an adult in this emancipation referendum. With us are Madam Mafalda Hopkirk of the Improper Use of Magic Office as both a character witness and the required authority for the trace, Charles Farley of the Department of Magical Games and Sports as a character witness and expert for Talion Macnair's accomplishments, and Kingsley Shacklebolt of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement as the head of this hearing. Talion Macnair is present with counselor Edward Tonks. Do you confirm these observations?"

She nodded with a sad look and said, "Good. Poor boy... your father was one of you-know-who's most loyal servants: Rabastan Lestrange. He was imprisoned with Rodolphus Lestrange, his brother, Bellatrix Lestrange, his sister-in-law, and Barty Crouch Jr. after they attacked House Longbottom and killed Frank Longbottom while leaving his wife Alice bedridden for life."
