I am incredibly upset with the ending of this book. I mean after all the suffering Arlo went through,he still had to die. That made me cry because I really liked Arlo. More than o liked Zeph. It's fine though, I wouldn't want him to live with the trauma of what he's been through but personally, if I were Serene I wouldn't talk to Kilamin or Zeph for at least a year. I knew Arlo would die but stilllll. had he not suffered enough?! The story was nice anyway, thanks for such a good book.

It pains me that such a good book has finally come to an end but it was fun while it lasted. Thank you Ash for such a wonderful ending though I wished it wouldn't end but all good things must come to an end. Now unto the next story! 😭❤️

As much as I am shocked, I'm really happy. My cheeks hurt from smiling throughout this chapter. Although, I'm more worried about what Dante would think now. Hehehe. 😂🤭 And then there's Viktor coming with his problem. Ugh!

Sorry what?! The ending had me choking on my dinner. I had a feeling something bad was going to happen to Maxwell but isn't this too soon? And I thought he was the one who went to Anna's room? Personally, I don't think it's suicide because he did say he was going to make everyone miserable (not his exact words but you get what I mean.) Probably someone wanted to kill him and he was fighting the person and the person used his weapon (which is his hand turned into blade) to kill him. This is devastating and I was begin to enjoy Maxwell's pov's seeing as he was always in pain. 😂 So who's going to take over the throne now?

I feel Raylen is there bc he's aware of Dante's demon awakening and the chaos that's supposedly to come with it's awakening. I think he also has other motives but let me just use the part of the story that says the storm demon was peaceful so let's hope he just wants peace as well and I hope he doesn't want to achieve that by killing the demon aka Dante. I also ship Emily and him, I don't know why. I love MQG so much. She's literally one of my best characters in the book. In as much as I feel bad for Maxwell, he deserves every bit of pain, guilt and suffering. He dug his own grave the moment he decided to go with his mother's plan. Maya has always been power hungry. What's to say that Sophia really persuaded their father to throw his mother, sister and he to the old palace?! All in all, this is kking William's fault. But then again, I'm sure he was aware how the father didn't really fancy Dante bc he was without a Crux regardless of if he won every battle he was sent to and I'm sure he was aware of how much Aiden didn't want anything to do with the throne because he wanted to be free. He's really just pathetic. And even after losing Mary and having to suffer a tremendous amount of pain, he's still planning to make everyone around him miserable as if they're the cause of his problems. it's infuriating! Maxwell deserves no pity. He claimed to love Marianne yet was willing to throw her away for the throne even though he wanted the throne because of her. I really don't just like Maxwell even though I understand the reason for his choices but right now he's way past redeeming.

I will not be too surprised if it's Aiden because remember when they were in the lost city, in that cave when Aiden suddenly vanished and they found him outside and then he claimed to have left bc he couldn't handle hearing his father's voice? If Emily could handle it, why couldn't he? They both loved their father, did they not? Anyway, it could be Aiden, it could be someone else but if it was Aiden I won't be that surprised. I'll be surprised alright but not that much.

Finally reading this after piling chapters for 10 days straight. Okay so at first when this Gabriel guy came into the picture, I thought he was shady but he just can't know everything about the Flores family so he's probably genuine I guess. Anna can you not let just anybody know you can speak?! Yes he's from hawkshead and he knows your family but you still need to be careful. I think this might be your only chance to escape and with you prolonging it by a week, I doubt it's going to happen since you like to attract trouble. I don't like the fact that Maxwell is noticing Anna. it's annoying. I've been trying to sympathise with the fact that queen Maya is the one forcing me... sorry telling him to do those things but id you really loved Marianne then you wouldn't have followed your mother's bloody orders. I'm convinced Maya had a hand in king William'' death. That or she was planning it and then someone else also wanted to kill king William and so she probably didn't get her hands dirty. Bc there's honestly no way you want to tell she didn't have a hand in it. How everything just fell into place for her and her dirty children after his death is quite sketchy. And this one that, whatever the king wants no one else can take is not sitting well with me especially with this irritant as king. As much as I want Anna to be reunited with her family, let's not forget that Dante will track her down even to the depths of the sea and Gabriel will most likely die by his sword. This girl should think sometimes.

that's what I've been doing but reading a bit of the beginning and end of each chapter update is making me want to read the whole thing. I can't even comment again bc I haven't read the past 10 chapters. 😭😭 I'm waiting for it to reach chapter 100 before I read them. Lord help me.

I've been piling my chapters since but what I just saw at the end of this chapter is devastating. I can't even really comment bc I have not read the last 5-7 chapters but wth?! Can these blackthorn princes just let Anna breathe for a moment?! Let the maid breaaathe! Dante should better snap in the next chapter bc I don't understand this sort of "promotion" I was even considering letting go of my hatred for Maxwell bc he's just following his mother's orders but he's just crossed the line! Him and that his lizard of a sister. And the way they have to listen to everything max says just bc he's "king." If I could just enter the book and kill Maxwell in his sleep. 😒 Tomorrow's update better be worth it bc that's when I'm reading my piled up chapters.
