Really like this book but it’s too expensive to read, I can’t understand why writers use sites like this when they get so little out of it. I would much rather buy a subscription like in Patreon or just buy the book on Amazon. Lots of writers use Wattpad to give free sample and then u can subscribe to read the rest and all other stories, but that’s just my opinion, it’s a good book

Does the author not get paid for her story? I do not understand this gifting thing, we pay a lot of money to read this good story and does the author not get any of it? Does the author only get the gift money? If so then this app is awful and i wont read anymore, i thought by buying chapters i was paying the author for the story. i know the app should also get money but the author should at least get 40% its her/his idea, her/his imagination and her/his story afterall
