Not at all! You can’t have action all the time as it will get boring and repetitive. Throw in a bit of politics, drama, romance once in a while and that’s how you make a great story. The balance so far has been perfect in my humble opinion 😬

I am so glad you didn’t drag out the fight. A lot of authors “conveniently” forget their MC’s skills later on for the sake of plot. With all his skills making him super op I won’t you won’t conveniently forget them next time. The fact that he can use phase so no physical attacks will ever reach him, how he can teleport himself out of any sticky situation, counter (super useful), how he can push and pull etc I really don’t see him losing to anyone at this point (unless of course you nerf him like how they did it dirty to sasuke who is always running out of chakra 😅)

Logically speaking Rey should win because not only does he have more skills, he is the only one who has been levelling up by killing monsters. Unless Adonis has a way to increase his level through other means that we don’t know about (or his hero class gives lots of extra stats), Rey should have higher stats at this point and is the clear winner

Nope that’s not how leverage works. The best CEOs out there would just answer the questions politely. They would gain leverage and bargaining power after that. A rude person acting all high and mighty to make himself look powerful would just seem weak in reality.
