POV: Jacob trying to sleep
He is a king. She just sneaked into his room, with the help of her brother. That is treason, if his guard lets a woman in without the king's permission, if he lets a woman enter then he can also let an assassin enter. The MC is King, he is the Law as long as his army is behind him.
The Author is trying to replicate the way Olenna Redwyne became Tyrell. But the problem is the MC is king and Loras just committed treason, and his court and the realm will support him (Stanis hates the Tyrell, Dorne possibly hates the Tyrell for letting Robert escape in his rebellion, Most other realm because Loras just committed treason by letting someone enter the king chamber.)
Why would he do that, he can turn this against the Tyrell. He can punish Loras for letting someone into his chamber without his permission (Treason), he can punish Margaery Tyrell and the Tyrell for plotting against his rule (Creating chaos between the kingdom). He is the king all the power is in his hand. But the author needs conflict to progress the story no matter how logical it is.
Ah by bad, but in that case i expect Loras to be punished in the morning. The guard doesn't have the authority to let someone enter the king chamber after all, let's see what happens next. If the MC let this happen without anything happening to Loras and in turn The Tyrell then he lost control of his Castle. (If I Am the MC Loras will go straight to Caste Black, the Tyrell will lose a lot of their resources and will be out of the capital).
Are we reading the same thing? There is no mention of Loras. Only the Guards are not wasted from all the drinking, and since the guard is not wasted, the one protecting his room will be his gold cloak probably 2 so the probability of them sleeping is lower.
Wow, the story quality is going worse lately. Take this chapter for example, how can someone sneak into the king's bedroom. Yeah, the king's chambers are definitely not guarded at all, and anyone can enter it in the middle of the night. I guess the author has no idea what to write between "now" until the wildling attack and the white walker stuff.
The military wants to use some of Edward tech like his drone, that makes him an asset.
Yes i said GOD. because it's a title. The MC is also a GOD to all of his living creations. If all of his research is automated then that is not his research, it's his AI research or other people's research.
Funny that you got Power Hungry from my comments there. MC is GOD already at this point, he already has the power of one, the influence of one, he also has a lot of "Followers" already. Also interesting when you say if it's about his research or creations then the MC will care. He is now "Grounded" by his mom if that is not restricting his research time but yet he does nothing but laze around in his room rather than doing research. Just take the L that the Mom is overstepping her authority here.
He can definitely go from one conquest to another, he has the capability to make more army and resources infinitely, practically infinite energy, a weapon that is capable of killing primordials. I guess from an author perspective it's just bad for pacing.
He can challenge ophis / great red / trihexa or the ExE.
This is your story you don't need to justify this bad plot to me. And the fact that you make his Mother Grounding him means more than a joke in this story is just a big red flag for me (and considering the comments on this chapter for most people). The MC is a GOD already at this point, he should respect his parents but the moment they step out of the line like controlling his actions, the GOD should put them back in their place.
If you want to consider time, MC right now can invade heaven at any time he wants. The results of that invasion is one sided speciocide, the angel faction of DxD is weak without Yahweh. If the MC really wants a quick look at the heaven system all he needs is to send his forces to heaven. For me this is just a disappointing plot development.
