I think the flesh gives you geno points. and the essence powers up your abilities, the elemental ones or whatever.

it's a shame. but also a good thing. I bet it was the turtle they killed. but since it's an armor, they won't be able to kill an actual super beast. one that is prime and unhurt. Unless they get lucky like Han Sen did. which I doubt.

I'm thinking he might be more of a space/time user. that or a spirit/cosmic type. seeing as how his qigong mantra allowed that one fellow to travel through space and teleport into GS1
