bro to answer your first question he's an adventure most of interest don't have enough money and even if there are noble adventures they rarely bring huge amounts of money with them because then basically ruins the point of being an adventurer, and to answer your second question we're talking about a world where demons can pop out of thin air, vampires taking over cities and somebody hordes of undead, people swinging magic like it's the wild West, and supernatural creatures like God's and dragons and you're questioning a knight of the mysterious God who can summon metal automata
