14 Christmas ll

As Agustus entered the hall through the gate, he was greeted by the Minister of Magic, who extended her hand with a warm smile. "Welcome, Heir Peverell. I'm so glad you could join us tonight."

Alfred swiftly moved past her to procure a drink for Agustus from the banquet. Agustus shook hands with the Minister, smiled, and said, "Thank you for the invitation, Minister. I'm glad to be here," his initial reluctance dissipating after seeing her.

Madam Minister smiled at Agustus and remarked, "It's my pleasure. After all, everyone here wanted to meet the Heir of four Ancient noble families. I must say, Heir Peverell, you look amazing today. If I had a daughter, I would've immediately given her hand to you."

Agustus charmingly responded, "And I would have immediately said yes if your daughter looked like you do today," ( she looked like Scarlett Johansson in her prime wearing that stunning red dress.)

Observing the captivating effect she had on most men, Agustus couldn't help but notice their admiring gazes. The Minister smiled and shifted the conversation, "Well, Heir Peverell, enjoy the ball. But before that, I would like to talk to you about your next year's election plan."

Agustus knowingly smiled and replied, "Not now, but we can have a meeting after Hogwarts semester ends." The Minister's smile widened, "Well, that's great, Heir Peverell. I look forward to our meeting." She kissed him on the right cheek, leaving a red lipstick mark, and gracefully walked away to greet other guests.

'But who would say no to that ass,' thought Agustus while discreetly admiring her.

Alfred arrived, offering Agustus a drink, which he accepted, saying, "Alfred, I've scheduled a meeting with the Minister after Hogwarts semester ends. Add that to my schedule."

Alfred nodded and replied, "Yes, master."

After that, Agustus was greeted by many noble families' lords. Invitations to dinners and outright marriage contracts were extended by some.

Agustus politely declined all of them. He was against a political marriage and he already had Dora he doesn't need more than one girl.

The most intriguing encounter was with Lord and Lady Malfoy and their 9-year-old son, Draco, who amusingly mimicked Lucius's manners.

Post-meeting, Lucius was impressed by Agustus and advised Draco, "Draco, you must remember to befriend Heir Peverell," to which Draco nodded.

Lucius also instructed Narcissa to contact her sister Andromeda after years. Tonks even though were not accepted by the British magic society now hold a lot of political power. Learning of Agustus's wandless defeat of a fifth-year Slytherin, Lucius, envious of Agustus's magical talent, wealth, and political power, wished he had a daughter to connect with him.

Lucious had been concerned due to the debt he owed Heir Peverell but he was surprised when Agustus didn't even mentioned the subject. Lucious was now more worried 'it seems Heir Peverell is a proper Slytherin' thought lord Malfoy.

Tired from the ball, Agustus agreed to Lady Greengrass's dinner invitation on December 27. Lady Greengrass sought to discuss the magical contracts owed to the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Ashwood. Augustus accepted, aiming to address Astoria's condition(She had suffered enough in canon he wanted to help her live a normal life). Had she not invited him, he planned to call her for a formal meeting during the next year's summer.

Agustus may be a selfish, arrogant, boy but he is not a monster to see a young girl suffer due to a blood curse. All Agustus wanted from that meeting was to heal Astoria.

Agustus eagerly anticipated Lady Greengrass's dinner invitation, concluding that despite his initial reluctance, he had truly enjoyed the beautiful night.

Agustus climbed into the elegant black carriage, followed by Alfred. They were heading to Drakul Manor.

(25 December, 1989)

Agustus was sitting on the couch and opening the Christmas presents that his friends had sent him. He smiled as he saw the thoughtful gifts they had chosen for him.

Cedric had given him a bottle of Dittany, a powerful healing herb and restorative that could be eaten raw to cure shallow wounds. Agustus appreciated the gesture, knowing that Cedric was always looking out for his safety.

The twins had sent him a cozy sweater that their mother had knitted, with his initials embroidered on the front. Agustus loved it and put it on right away, feeling the warmth.

Agustus really liked Weasley family (except Percy), they were chaotic but good people.

The Weasleys had also invited him to join them for the Christmas dinner, but he had politely declined, saying that he would visit them in the summer. He knew they were a large and lively family, and he preferred to spend the holidays in a quiet and peaceful way.

The best gift, however, had to be from Dora. She had made a sketch of them together, holding hands and smiling. It was a beautiful drawing, capturing their friendship and affection. Agustus had asked Alfred, his loyal butler, to frame it and hang it on the wall in his room.

Agustus had not forgotten to buy some gifts for his friends as well. He had given Cedric the latest flying broom, a sleek and speedy model that would give him an edge in the Quidditch matches. Agustus knew that Cedric would need one next year, when he would compete for seeker position.

He had given the twins a few books about basic alchemy, a fascinating but obscure branch of magic. Though alchemy was not part of the syllabus at Hogwarts, the books would help them develop new and innovative pranking tools, which they loved to create and test.

And finally, for Dora, he had given her a locket that he had found in one of his vaults. The locket had the same features as his heir ring, which meant that it could protect her memories, as well as shield her from harm. The locket will also remind her of him.

Agustus also sent gift ( a cute pink dress and lots of pudding) for little Emily, and new clothes for everyone at the orphanage.

Agustus know grandma will question him about the the gifts, he would have to prepare a convincing lie.

So many people were questioning lemon with minister, and wanted first lemon to be with Dora.

Well on public demand, no lemon till Dora turns 16, maybe 17. Hehe
