Didn't the subtitles mention a president Qu? it couldn't be that Qu, right?

It looks like someone smashed together different versions of the story: it gets really confusing and hard to follow. Some parts simply appear missing. The translation is close to MTL, it is hard to follow the plot. Plus, the cultivation levels translation is very messy and I just don't get who is supposed to be stronger than whom. I don't even know what the level of the MC is meant to be and how much leapfrogging his strength allows him to do.

I don't know if I'm tired or just confused thanks to the story, bit when MC "have a sword" to the paper/book spirit , wasn't it a sort of sword intent or a sword made of his Qi? That's what I thought ... So, are the other sects mistaken about "the sword" being a treasure or is it really a treasure?

When MC ascends to an upper realm, the new plot starts off scarily similar to a very like-minded novel. (Looked down upon master of a peak. Rivalry with another peak master who has a scum son,...)
