Didn't shippuden have those few filler arc episodes with the character in their "The Last" forms. I don't know whether that's after or before the movie. But either way, they are before that Boruto movie, no? Off topic, but thinking about it, while I dig their relationship, I don't like how it formed. I think it could've been written better, but it is what it is.

It is what it is. An idea will pop up one day. It's better to do as you are and keep it moving until then.

It would break me, and that's what truly scared me. If I took a moment to look back on my life, would I turn around and ever truly be the same again? Maybe, maybe not. But if I'm out there saving lives, maybe, just maybe, I might eventually do more good than I've done harm. How would that work? He wouldn't be able to be seen or heard. Perhaps sensed. Unless with the power of plot, all that listed don't apply. I don't mind either way. It just seems funny to imagine him disappearing on them right after resurrecting in front of them

This is definitely one of the more mature fanfiction Sasukes I've seen. The majority of the ones I've seen... Jesus, either some authors read too many Wuxia novels and Manhua, or they just absolutely hate Sasuke for no real reason.
After seeing how easily Naruto could use shadow clone jutsu. Which was supposed to be a jutsu for Jonins he knew Naruto was not that simple. And even though his improvement was fast it was not going to change anything. He would defeat Naruto. - _KON3dCommented

The reason Fanfiction has gotten its name is much broader than "Twisting the canon." Otherwise, "90%" of those "fanfics" you mentioned aren't really fanfics, no? ... Also, their ship was canon before Boruto, but sure.

I don't agree with that because Sasuke didn't survive. Duckbutt's life wasn't in any danger that night. I'd say Fishcake's fate was sealed either the night of his birth or when that "Child of Prophecy" thing came about. But for the sake of the narrative, I will just go with it.
After all canon Naruto Uzumaki was mostly shackled by the chains of fate. Mostly because Sasuke survived. - _KON3dCommented
SHE'S A WOMA- I'm kidding. It is curious, though. It's most likely because Clark's character was designed to be the ultimate good boy. She simply isn't Clark. But maybe for the best? It's hard to be the brightest symbol when there's a brighter one right next to you. Maybe not? Carol doesn't care as much about random people. She's young and very impressionable. Some mind games and mental manipulation, and we might get another "Evil Superman" situation.
Carol... she might have the same blood running through her veins, but... she wasn't like him. He didn't know why, what made them so different? I know that. But a Kekkei Genkai isn't something that can be sensed. It's something you have to physically see to know someone has it. That's why I was confused.
