Short term vs long term, smaller numbers are easier to feed short term but long term numbers are needed to have enough genetic diversity to grow and have a long lasting civilization. There’s strength in numbers too even if it’s harder to control. If you can safely support a large number there’s not really a reason not to. Even if he doesn’t team up just saving them is an advantage. They won’t forget either way so better a friend in debt than an enemy out for blood

Sure but not right away. In the beginning some people will have faith in things recovering and money holding value and might be willing to trade for money. Its a very brief window but it’s there. Though I guess it depends on the severity of things. A fallout style nuclear war might go straight to gold and silver for and drop paper currency. Eh just thinking out loud
In a post-apocalyptic world, money is as useless as scrap paper. Even if human systems were to be restored, a new currency system would likely emerge, rendering these bills worthless. - cottony2dCommented

Hearing Superman's words I couldn't help but think he had misunderstood me. I honestly couldn't stand the fool at most times. Watching dragon ball as a kid on my old earth, I hadn't been focused on the main characters like a lot of avid watchers of the show or readers of the manga. The character I valued most was ironically Vegeta, the very persons body I now possessed. He worked harder than any other character and did not like it when his hard work was trampled upon by those with talent. Don't get me wrong, Superman was a good guy, but at times he was idealistic and naïve. In the original work, the Justice league had left Mongul on war world without doing anything about him. It was obvious to what Mongul did after. He went back to his old ways, got killed, came back to life, and caused even more trouble. Charlotte used that moment to slice his achilleas heel with a kitchen knife I didn't know she had. She then jumped up at him, stabbing him repeatedly in the chest until he died. My final disciple that I had to pick up today was a 14 year old red headed girl with freckles named Charlotte. I had saved her 3 months ago when Black Mask killed her parents and was just about to kill her as well. At the time, I had planned to cripple Black Mask before dropping him off at the police station, but as I was waiting for him to wake up from the damage I inflicted on him already, Charlotte had grabbed a nearby kitchen knife and went to town on him. After five months, Mayank finally died in the holodeck. I was quite proud of him. He survived through quite a lot for a long while with nothing but his bare hands and wits. When the simulation ended, Mayank had eyes that looked like he had seen the worst in life and seemed paranoid of everything around him. It took a whole extra week to convince him he was no longer in danger and for him to somewhat readapt to the regular world again. - cottony4dCommented

I picked up a number of materials that I had no idea of what they were, but they looked important. I also grabbed what looked like green and gold Kryptonite rocks. I also saw a white crystal that looked like kryptonite, but it made me feel a tiny bit weak the closer I got to it, so I avoided it. I had never heard of a white kryptonite, so I had no clue it's effects are on regular people. - cottony4dCommented
