Tbh, the only reason I think I don’t hate Gloriana is because of the absolute travesty that is Ves’s mother, quite possibly the worst character I’ve ever seen in any story ever. I didn’t just dislike her, I genuinely hated her, the idea of her sent me into things I don’t even feel when thinking of my college group projects. Spoilers for the rest of this rant, but she steals from him CONSTANTLY, looks down on him and actively goes out of her way to make sure he knows absolutely nothing, nearly kills her husband and doesn’t even bother warning him when she actively experiments on him to just straight up stealing the single most precious thing he’s ever made and what he considered his magnum opus, it was only towards the end of the nyxian gap arc we saw literally any redeeming factors and it was matched with a dozen other awful things about her personality, even his dad was like “yeah your mom is awful” and here goes Ves following in his dads footsteps getting another awful woman, just, ugh, what awful female characters in this story.

This isn’t just for Snoop_S but a lot of people here, I’ve read up til chap 3400 atm and still reading, you all complaining about filler is redundant. Filler is unevessary to story plot but that doesn’t mean it has no bearing on the enjoyment of the story, mech fights are filler for this story a majority of the beginning but they aren’t unenjoyable to read and experience. Your distaste for filler and it having an impact on how you enjoyed the story is understandable but that doesn’t make it bad, the author isn’t adding nonsense he’s adding explanations and info that remain relevant for the story and help you understand. Its a technical story and therefore has technical explanations to back it up and help the reader understand, it isn’t always fun but it is helpful. The only complaint I have is his growth and pace of the story isn’t as fast as I wish but this is a conscious decision on the authors part, it’s meant to be a long story and we’re here for ves’s growth through it. I don’t look down on you for not enjoying it as I also stopped reading for a period before coming back, I’ve read many stories growing up and this isn’t one of the best in quality but it is one of the highest in investment. I feel invested in Ves and I feel as though I learn and grow as a person with him as well, it’s an enjoyable feeling, however if you want a story that is just qualatively better try ‘Mother of Learning’ or ‘Ultimate evolution’ however be warned the ending for UE was rushed, otherwise though a phenomenal piece with my favorite MC of all time, truly felt clever and felt as if he earned his way, not got it for free or handouts, but clawed it out of the worlds hands by force.

14*3=42 which I guess can be 45 if you consider him starting with base 3 HP before the vitality but then 20*3=60 which means once again proof of author not bothering or caring to do simple math since it completely negates his previous math for health

I purposely make my character look as gnarly and awfully color coded as possible, my elden ring character atm looks like someone in predator thermal vision with bright pink hair and every physical stat set to absolute max, what a unit
Most of these hours, Aldrich spent maxing out his necromancer game character all the way up to level 100, but he did not stop just there. I’m so confused, do you guys not realize his situation, he’s grow up with like no education other than what his parents probably taught him, he grew up learning monsters killed humanity, he would rather give up the power of a werewolf and go join a resistance of humans, and he’s in shock right now. You act like this is an isekai and he has actual background and knows what to do, he just wants revenge, he doesn’t care about the specifics, he wants power for revenge but he took pride in being human, he HATES monsters
Ashton thought losing humanity would be a huge blow to him, but if he could avenge his parents then he had no problem becoming a pawn for anyone else.
