man this novel started out ok but is a complete and utter crack rn.

yeah I have seen ppl say that he doesn't have to follow his mother but I have not a seen a single instance where he hasn't listened to her.

this whole orochimaru arc feels forced af. He should have nowhere enough power to pull this off and satoru doesn't need to listen to orochi as he can just threaten him. Orochi is scared of dying and will work for him for free.....Satoru is portrayed as op but can't even exert any strength against named characters.

ok so I don't know what u said and was bored enough to translate it. Here are a few novels I found that are decent to read. 1. The Game at Carousel: A Horror Movie LitRPG by lost_rambler (pretty decent but mc was not my taste) 2. The Cabin Is Always Hungry (A Dungeon Core Horror Slasher) 3. A Rational Zombie (Complete) by Virlyce These are some I found after a long time but they are not perfect.

Ok This is the fic I never asked for but didn't know I needed till I read it. I had long given up on reading a halfway decent horror fanfic / webnovel but this novel came out of nowhere and I really enjoyed reading it so far.So far not many chaps are out but what little is out seems quite promising. Mc is a breath of fresh air and isn't like ur avg cn mc, his character actually feels like there is a certain depth to it. The side characters feel a little bland but its only been 30 chaps so things can get better. Overall a fic thats fun to read and I hope doesn't get dropped as there really isn't anything similar to this out there.

came for the story but stayed for the author's rant. Usually when I see an author rant, I roll my eyes and proceed to scroll till chapter begins but author here has refreshing takes on things while being hilarious. That said the fic is not perfect but it works. It doesn't take itself too seriously and is a quite relaxing read. The interactions b/w characters seemed a bit cringe but thats prolly my Cn mc edge overdose. Overall a decent fic.

the revive thing would have been fine if they still had a time limit or some weakness or flaw but mc just straight up did a full revive.

The whole reviving kinda just killed any tension in the novel. If mc can just revive ppl then there are no stakes for him.

I feelit was not a huge issue but I feel it can be better if mc is not harmed so easily, him not being able to harm the monster is fine coz u can treat it like a troll who can resist spells but mc should also not get hurt that badly. No need to do too much, just have mc use protego or something similar. I think mc and monster being in a stalemate is fine and u can just move along with the story.Following canon is also not too bad if u just include more stuff within.Keep up the good work.

Thats it a hundred chapters of this and its unreadable. I guess you can enjoy this novel if you are not familiar with jp tropes and Mcs but if you know even a little bit this becomes unreadable. The Protag is so much worse than hachiman with no spine , no real personality and passive af. Also acts dense sometimes. Honestly the premise is decent but might as well have created an oc coz this protag feels so much inferior compared to hachiman. All the girls fall in love with zero effort but mc tries to act off as dense. Atleast akkikan protag's can see when a girl is showing signs but mc here is dense af. Some arcs are unnecessarily dragged out and most characters feel bland. Overall a decent premise but Mc ruins any sort of immersion one would expect to have. I really tried to give this a chance but it clearly isn't for me.

jesus christ the mc is really starting to get on my nerves....he is so passive its not even funny anymore. No spine, no personality and certainly no awareness.
