I think these are like university courses where one course has a 2-3 hour lecture and then 6-8 hours of self-study. 6 courses would mean a daily study load of 7 hours (incl. sat/sun), while most universities recommend 5 courses per semester.

As a computer science student I can say that this looks correct, but its difficult to assess without having the code. The programming language is definitely C++. The problem is always in the pointers. Let's hope I will never return to my C++ days. Python is life.
