So I got a ton of suggestions for the new call sign and though I am leaning towards one I may be wrong. So I figured I would drop a poll for people to help decide which would be the best replacement. Do note that just because one name won over another doesn't mean that I will pick it. since he knows the lore, he knows what weapons are "probably" more effective against his foes, thus you can write it off as ONI seeing their spartan having an "an acquired taste for exotic weaponry" So you can use any weapon you want (though within reason) though please cocktease our MC with shiny and big weapons he can watch but not use till WAY later in the story (like a mantis, condor or high jacking a scarab)
A little side question to the last question is what do you want to see in the combat scenes? It could be in regards to anything just throw out anything you want to see whether it's a weapon a style anything. - Jaghatai_Kahn1yrCommented
I say middle ground leaning more towards lethality. also in the case of the uppercut from naomi breaking a brutes neck vs atroix tanking punches from chief, I'm just gonna default to atroix is a veteran amongst veterans for the excuse.
So first things first combat with the Covenant is confusing as fuck. Because what the weaponry does is entirely different across all forms of Halo. For example Daisy S-023 was killed in Mark 4 by 3 Needler rounds impacting her chest through her armor, meanwhile John in 2525 or 2526 during Halo: Forward Onto Dawn had any needles that hit him just shatter or literally bounce off. Then you have the books where Naomi S-010 with a single uppercut broke a Brute's neck whereas Chief was boxing Atriox and he stood there eating all of his punches. Therefore my question is basically how do you want me to portray combat? less than 30 chapters and he's already losing his blindness? why does every author remove the handicap they give their protagonist right at the start of their story. dying in a year? eat a magic pill 5 chapters in to give 300 years to life crippled and can't walk? system reward chapter 2 to fix it all. lost a limb? magic golem arm 7 pages later. sigh, here hoping Clay can't remove it, for now.

that is true, though you must consider momo can create ANY material as long as she has sufficient knowledge and understanding of it. and now think of the possible materials a Villain can make to cause terror. but you do have a good point on gold probably beging worthless in that day and age, though they WILL enforce certain restrictions on creators like momo as to ensure they cannot crash the economy or set off a nuke.

in this situation your better off deciding what you want it to be, rather than being accurate. best to just look at the size of the vessels and do a guesstimate on how many are needed. so yes your being silly, though we love you for that. but the answer to if your right or stupid is this:

Alright that's enough I can't right another fucking paragraph of this shit. APRIL FOOLS. I regret so much. Writing this chapter even for a prank made me physically ill.
