10 The Great Dao Chapter (-1)

After doing our day of training I returned home ahead of Naomi in order to study the scriptures given to me. I am unsure if I will have any young masters attempting to bully me in the future. So I must start cultivating in order to be prepared for any troubles in the future.

While reading the 'Great Heavenly flame of Evil Destruction mantra' I was suddenly struck with an enlightenment. So I made my way to my room and remembered to put the 'In seclusion' board outside the door of my cave room.

While I was in enlightenment I absorbed the energies of the universe into my Dantian. Although I didn't know at the time but I raised my cultivation to 14 star Star Destroyer, from 3 star Qi molding expert. After many moons and many days that totaled 1 month. I finally opened my eyes from my seclusion.

I clenched my fist in order to see my strength and was disappointed that even though I had comprehended the Great Dao of fire. My cultivation level had risen by such a miniscule amount.

"It's hard being a genius in combat techniques, but having such a small cultivation level and such a frail body." I whispered to myself while shaking my head in sadness.

But suddenly a idea appeared in my head as a way to raise my cultivation level. Pills!

So I immediately made my way to the alchemy pavilion where I bowed and kowtowed for 50 years without stopping. Eventually a Elder of the pavilion took noticed and made there way outside to ask what my purpose for being there was.

"Senior I have bowed and kowtowed for 50 years without a break. I would like to ask you to be my master so that I may learn alchemy in order to make pills and aid myself in comprehending and reach the pinnacle of the martial way." I said with extreme vigor.

"So it is like this." The Senior of the alchemy pavilion said. "Very well take this token as my new disciple to the sect's resource pavilion and get your set of robes."

"Very well thank you Senior." I said before quickly doing what he had told me to do.

-timeskip 1000 years-

My journey of alchemy has been arduous and difficult. Even though I had no talent I was lucky enough to obtain wonderful lucky opportunities. So now I am about to break through the last stage, however I must go through a heavenly retribution in order to completely transcend the mortal world and become one with the Great Dao of the universe.

Looking back I remember the adventures I had. After having the senior become my master and guide me in the practice of alchemy. I was able to practice and become a pill refining master. I remember the first pill I refined, it was a basic soul cleansing pill that I got after killing a 3rd stage Phoenix. Though the battle had been long and I nearly died multiple times, it seemed fate was on my side as I was able to defeat in the end.

Since then everything was much easier. I had gone on a great journey to many continents of this small world. I had even acquired a couple Jade beauties that I had decided to marry. truly had it not been for master I would not be here today.

Now I must transcend the heavens after everything I have been through or else my name isn't Xiao Reese!

Alright that's enough I can't right another fucking paragraph of this shit. APRIL FOOLS. I regret so much. Writing this chapter even for a prank made me physically ill. I feel like throwing up, but I hope it was funny at least so my suffering didn't go unnoticed.

So if anyone ever believes this story will devolve into Chinese cultivation nonsense. Just refer back to this chapter, even just bullshitting I couldn't withstand writing 500 words of this....abomination *shudders*.

I will drop a chapter today or tomorrow. I plan to have a couple chapters of training arc with Alpha Company and Sam's fireteam. I was originally going to skip all of that and get into the action, but I want to flesh out the characters I have introduced further and not rush anything. After that we will have a time skip and Sam's first official mission.

Hmmmmm I guess because you guys had to read that garbage or at least scroll through it I will give a small spoiler for the first mission. ONI + Headhunters - Covenant. That is all I shall say.

I am going to see if I can do AI artistry to somehow get a picture of Sam's first armor which will be SPI armor. No Mjolnir yet. If anyone has a good site for it and it's free drop a link please.
