yeah this is the beginning of the ninja Renaissance as Yo would refer, he's basically bisected chakra to it's fundamental elements spiritual energy and physical energy and developing moves from other anime that require those elements, i.e Haki is just a form of spirit energy manipulation same as YYH, or bleach or kagara bachi, and for physical energy there's no one way to increase physical strength working out , gravity training, breathing, posture ect

On the other hand when Yoriichi wasn't on a mission or pestering his uncle, he spent his all his free time out and about with his friends. They were almost inseparable (unless Kushina was beating Yo up for mouthing off), doing everything together from training to teaming up for games. They shared everything freely, including resources and insights on their techniques. It was almost rare to see one without the others nearby around the village, some people started to think they were a sibling trio. This closeness showed on missions too, as their teamwork was hailed to be unmatched in generations. Thanks to Yo, both Yami and Toph were also skilled practitioners of total concentration breathing, carried zanpakuto, and used improvised techniques with the ferocity of high level kekkei genkai (Yo may have just adapted techniques from other anime, but it worked). legendary is in reform, where going to keep a similar format and cast but try a new formula, probably take everytyhing Naruto related out and keep the Fate/ God of high school elements don't worry it will be a better fit. if not we plan to continue but with a lot more school life mixed into the action

oh indeed but hollows can form when souls go bad with abundant spirit energy, Yoriichi himself raises the spirit energy threshold in the world but yeah it's definitely a element but it has two purposes, 1. a new threat one for the world and Yo personally and 2. it brings the rules of shinigami into play like if one exist the other will too so for future use

technically not a crossover just used familiar characters instead of random OCs that are hard to picture, it does have elements of other anime but the world is Naruto the plot is Naruto but some characters are from other anime and manga BUT they just have the visage and similar abilities but all abilities are made to work through Naruto world logic

Finished out the semester! Just had to make sure I didn’t fail lol right now we’re working on the follow up to this arc and starting on the next, trying to make sure the plot ties back together with stuff previously planned it’s hard not to want to write for extreme detail when dealing with kishi, you know how he made everything connect of course he had plot holes but he was very good at cleaning up after himself lol
