Maybe limit it a little with some rules, like having a time limit , after someone's been dead for a certain amount of time it doesn't work, and the closer he is to someone (acquaintance - friend - best friend - family - lover ect) the longer the time limit for resurrection.

huh i never knew that about mercury's semblance ( must've been in a latter season of the show, only got to season 5-6 myself) but you're right, Roman could just have a passive semblance like crow.

As far As I remember Roman does have aura but doesn't have a semblance same as Mercury.
